The processing appears to have been both clever and disastrous :(
The couple are highlighted, no less, whereas the original suffers for them being indistinct.
The other thing you did right, of course, was to capture a magnificent candid moment.
Onward and upward! Basic editing is a drag at times...
Taking a little longer to look at it is rewarding - another dpc no-no ...
You've definitely done better than most in presenting a moment of private tenderness and joy. Thanks :)

I think this could have been a great photo if not for the negative exposure. Just doesn't fit the mood of the moment. |

It's perhaps a nice moment, but to me the processing takes away from that moment. |

interesting, certainly candid.
my daughter says she likes the way it makes the subjects seem to glow. |

What is the negative adding to this? |

I like the candid but not so much the way it was edited but that is just me personally problem not the norm! |

It is a truly candid moment that certainly demonstrates how fleeting truly candid moments are. However the unfortunate post processing treatment is a huge negative - no pun intended - and was not a good choice - if it were a color image, then a straight conversion to black and white or grayscale would have been better. A good solid entry into the challenge which would have rated higher with better post processing treatment. |

I would rather have seen it in balck and white or in color. |
