Have no idea who the subjects are as I was about 80mtrs away with the camera set on a tri-pod in a direction towards the pier hoping something would happen in this area, after about 10min. along came this couple and stood in the viewing area, at first he had his arm on her shoulder, and when he dropped it to her waist, they turned to each other and kissed, this shot is as their lips parted. The original looked ok but I decided it needed a kick so inverted with an adjustment layer. creativity has brought the subjects to life rather than the dull original image for the moment.Basic processing did not do this without vialating the rules.As the challenge is about A candid moment IMHO this has also brought that moment to the viewer in a creative way, and hope this is what the viewer looks at rather than the processing.

Post: well it is obviouse from the score that viewer did not look at the Candid Moment and scored the image down because of the Processing, this is no different than Black & White just the darks become lighter and the lights darker, it does not change the candid moment of the challenge details..

It is a truly candid moment that certainly demonstrates how fleeting truly candid moments are. However the unfortunate post processing treatment is a huge negative - no pun intended - and was not a good choice - if it were a color image, then a straight conversion to black and white or grayscale would have been better. A good solid entry into the challenge which would have rated higher with better post processing treatment.
