somehow after the light bulb challenge in which we left a bulb or two lying around in our backyard, a plant grew around and over the bulb, or glommed onto it in a rainstorm. So naturally, I stuck it into a planter with some other vegetation and took some pictures.

And here I thought you pasted the plant to the bulb, but was trying to figure out how it looked so natural that way. Lovely, and it appears to have been very well appreciated, too.
I was just thinking you need a posthumous clone if you're going to get proper recognition for this jewel, then I saw you got an upsydaisy award. Congrats. Earned.
This popped out at me before I saw it was yours. Interestingly my first thought was chrysalis; after reading your comments and looking some more my next thought is plant forms uber alles.
These are the type of images I love to see in these challenges. Very nicely done. A 10 for me. I really hope this does well for you. If I had one of those fancy ribbons you would get it for your creativity!!
