Another "Agave" plant, but you all know I love them.I really enjoy taking images of their magestic form, shape, lines and curves.
I processed my image in photoshop, from a "raw" format. I enhanced the green tones, and then added a border.
Keeping with my aquatic themes, re most of my image titles, I am calling this one "Waves of Green"

Fantastic use of color. It is always easy on this site to make somethings subtle beautiful, but digging into colors like this with these kind of results in the sign of a master.
I went to Banana Republic store today with my wife and I saw a picture of an agave on its wall. (Now days I don’t mind walking with my family to malls since I pay more attention to the walls with pictures then shelves in stores. My girls just stated that they were surprised how well I behave in stores with them recently…. I don’t hurry up them anymore.) I immediately thought about your pictures of agaves. I think that they are much better than the one I saw on the wall in “BR”.
I've always been a big fan of your artwork and wanted to start commenting on one of my many fav shots of yours..
I simply love this shot.. it has a very soothing and calming effect on me.. It's perfect in my opinion and I had a sense of serenity when I look at it..
Congrats on your 15th placement and a new top 2 score for you. I figured this would have done a bit better than it did (not that 6.5 is anything to complain about). I prefer this one over your third highest rated pic. With more lines visible and the striking green this is a powerful shot (not that the other isnt - this one I just prefer more). Should have placed higher. Great job once again.
gave you a 10 and honestly thought you would ribbon...you do so well with these shots...you were robbed my dear! Congrats on finishing reasonably high at 15th...next time...
I'm completely in love with these lush abstracts. I like the lines, curves, colours, the painterly feel to them. I'm 100% certain I know who's image this is, and if I'm correct I can only say this is a wonderful addition to a series that I would happily display on my wall.
My only nit is that I think the L shaped, light green bit in the lower left side would look better if it were more in focus.
If this isn't a Sherpet production I am going to eat my hat! And if it isn't, somebody has mastered her style. So. . . consider this a one of the greatest compliments. BOL. Only comment, somewhat soft toward the center. 8 here
...and I wonder who this is. We both have our go to models although I am sure yours is doing way better than mine this time around. Another great shot. This is my top pick at the moment and will most likely get bumped up a point later on this week when I do my reevaluations. I need to get me one of these plants.
This looks like the signature photo of my good friend. ..and it is as beautiful and award winning as EVER! I really hope this ribbons. It is so deserving! I wish I could give it more than a 10, but a 10 will have to do :)
