Angie, another student. She brought her stuff for a shoot. The Beatle's Challenge is not much of my concern coz I was planning to skip it. But when this turned out well, and the challenge is pretty much "open" in terms of theme, I searched for a title to match the picture.

First off congratulations on your top 5 finish. A great shot!
What can I say that has not already been said. This is a great portrait. A very photogenic model and almost perfect processing. The DOF is great along with your focus. If I had to pick on one or two things it would be the background. It's texture almost overwhelms the texture of her garment. And the rose IMO is to sharp and it almost is a distraction from the models face. However the model won out :).
Overall a great photograph properly set up from the pose to the lighting. I think you almost nailed it with just those two slight distractions. Keep up the good work and I hope you find this critique helpful. If you have any questions about this critique feel free to contact me.
Stunning portrait - you are indeed the Master of that realm! Congrats on your 5th place finish in this high scoring challenge. I'm just starting to really pay attention to the reflections in the eyes of your models - they're always so interesting and well planned. Superb work.
This is just magical and love it so much as it looks like the "Virgin Mary".
I also agree with the comment below, that the title should have been "Lady Madonna".....

Wow - the skin and overall texture here are great. I would have removed that stray hair on the neck but definitely beautifuland great colors and everything. Making a fave.

It seems the beauty of this face already makes its dreams come true. Outstanding effort though the catchlights reminds one of cat eyes. Otherwise, a very strong portrait study. Bump.
Possibly "Lady Madona" would have been a better title. Lovely model. Lovely shot. I like that you kept some of the texture in the fabric. The composition is excellent. Lighting terrific. well done!
Classic shot..handled beautifully...just can`t remember which song the lyric comes from and that`s going to bug me because I`m a big Beatles fan.

Great colors, lighting, and composition. The model is actually more stunningly beautiful than the rose. My only minor critisism would be I think the backdrop is too close to the model. The texture of the blanket, or whatever was used is just mildly distracting. I predict a very high score.
I really love her luminescent skin. The focus is spot on. I think the green background hurts it. I think it would be so much better in white or a solid black. I'd maybe do without the rose too, or just crop it out and have her face larger. She is a real beauty.
