if you are not sure what a challenge entails e-mail the administrators then you can make sure your photo fits the challenge. DO NOT stop taking photos because of your score. Just one bad submission is all. Good Luck

Oh what a shame, you have no clue.
1. Always try to have at least one dimension (width or height) be 640 pixels.
2. Try to sumbit a photo that at least slightly falls within the challenge details.
If this was a portrait challenge and the image was at 640px wide then I would have given it a 6, as it is you get a 2.

While this is a nice shot - it really does not meet the challenge for "Landscape"
11/12/2005 11:47:18 PMPost actions
What in god's name does this have to do with this challenge? I could take a picture of my ass and it would make as much since as this one.
11/12/2005 07:14:27 PMPost actions
really small and no landscape here.
11/12/2005 11:10:42 AMPost actions
It looks like you might have entered the wrong photo in landscape.
11/12/2005 11:06:56 AMPost actions
Can't think of any connection to landscape theme even how metaphorical.
11/12/2005 09:50:32 AMPost actions
i don't see the tie-in with the challenge subject... might be a 6 or 7 in a different challenge, if posted a lot larger (640x480)

Its kinda small, and I'm not feeling the landscape here.
11/11/2005 07:04:48 AMPost actions
Yhym a nice one... but there is no land and no scape :) In fact there is no landscape :)
I am not going to score it down because there is a nice girl in this shot :)
11/10/2005 09:12:32 PMPost actions
I"m sure your entry would look great (if it was larger) but doesn't fit the challenge.
11/10/2005 08:17:39 PMPost actions
I like the contrast between the curls in the hair and the straight lines of the background, and the composition of the face is nice. Feel free to make your image bigger! That allows voters to see more detail and more of your pic :-)

I'm sure she's a beauty. But please - try harder to meet a theme of a challenge next time...1

I think you misunderstood the challenge. Sorry.
11/10/2005 11:50:05 AMPost actions
my opinion is that this is too small and does not meet the challenge :(
11/10/2005 05:23:48 AMPost actions
I don't feel this meets the challenge
11/10/2005 12:22:17 AMPost actions
Honestly I didn't give a good rating on this photo not because the model isn't great, but simply because I don't see how this fits into the challenge. I gave this a 1 because of that. If it was placed in a more appropriate challenge I would have given you at least a 4. This photo still could have kept its uniqueness if there was an actual scene/landscape behind her. None the less, her stare is mesmerising.
11/09/2005 11:51:56 PMPost actions
first as you have probable been told, way to small. second, this doesn't fit the challenge.
11/09/2005 11:29:20 PMPost actions
I don't think this fits the challenge.

This may be good and I do like it but it doesn't meet the challenge,

11/09/2005 02:28:16 PMPost actions
im confused...how is this landscape?
11/09/2005 01:38:38 PMPost actions
11/09/2005 12:45:04 PMPost actions
-too small
-in no way represents landscape
-sometimes trying to be too unique can hurt you because it ends up not fitting the challenge
11/09/2005 12:33:24 PMPost actions
This doesn't speak "landscape" to me
11/09/2005 11:59:15 AMPost actions
I'm not sure about this photo as a landscape...
11/09/2005 10:02:17 AMPost actions
Wrong subject. No landscape to be seen.
11/09/2005 08:12:45 AMPost actions
I know you have heard this already, just too small and I don't think this is really within the challenge, sorry.......
11/09/2005 07:49:16 AMPost actions
Not sure how this pertains to the challenge? Landscape?

Brazilian Girl
for Challenge: Landscape II
Do you see something wrong with this ?
11/09/2005 03:02:12 AMPost actions
Oops, not a landscape. You'll find that straying from the challenge subject even slightly will get your photo flushed. I think it's cute, well composed, and a little intreguing. Take a look at the tutorial (under the 'learn' button) on how to resize a photo for the web. This quite small. - 5
