Really nice macro shot. Very clear fur (great focus), with nice details. I like the shading and the shadows on the cat's face, but (impossible dream) I would have liked to have seen the upper eye more clearly (very dark). Photo 10 Creativity 8 B&W 9 total 9
Very sharp, with good textures and nice contrast. Some positive gamma might bring out the eyes a little more. I'd crop top and left to remove the bg and disconnected bit of cat. Nice work.
I am amused by the comments in the forums where people have been whining about cat, dog, flower and child pictures. If it is a well done shot like this, I really hope they don't ignore just how good this shot is because of that sentiment. Very nicely done shot.
