I am shooting since 1970 (the film era). The last 2 years I turned into the digital stuff. I 've learned a lot here in DPC and I am grateful for that.
I was and hopefully am still an amateur.
For me the value of every shot has to do mostly with memories from my own life and if its a good shot then it may cause thoughts and feelings to the viewer.
Recently I changed my user name (former ssocrates) and from now on I will be ikopanas
Well I got this comment that made me proud and I want to share with you.

It seems to be an exposure of 50 years as much as it does of 1 second. I especially admire the fact that the movement blur is so subtle, and yet so appropriate to the essence of the subject. A tremendously thoughtful and original photograph with several levels of reward for the viewer prepared to make the effort. 10.
