    Biography: I've been taking pictures seriously since I got the Canon PowerShot S1 IS for my 13th birthday (I think). I never had formal instruction, or much informal for that matter, but the wisdom of Google searches and Wikipedia has been a vital guide in understanding settings. That said, my greatest education comes from experimentation. Only now am I beginning to outgrow the S1 and move into my dad's "old" EOS Digital Rebel. My next step is to explore the wonderful and very scary world of SLRs, but I hope to make photography more a part of my life.

    Oh, and any advice is always, always appreciated. Most people who offer it turn out to be right, whether I know it right away or not.
