I attend the University of Maine, where I major in New Media, but I can't wait to get out of stupid college so I can spend time really delving into my craft. I am dead set on this: I will graduate in December.
I found out a couple years ago that I am related to Margaret Harker, the first female president of the British Royal Photographic Society. I think that's pretty spiffy, so I might try to Master in photographic studies at Westminster U as a tribute to my legacy. Plus, I've gotta say, living in England for a year or so would be pretty fabulous.
If not, I will still always take pictures of people and things that are pretty, and I will marry the love of my life, a boring and adorable pre-law, and goddamn it, not be a journalist. Journalism is a CRAZY profession and I tip my hat to anyone with enough grit to hack it.
I am the assistant photo editor for my school paper. I am pretty proud of this, though, I am more proud of the work I do for myself.
Aside from that, I am a normal college kid, with the leftist politics, the indie music, the vegeterianism... the whole gambit. |
