I'm stepping back somewhat from DPC at the mo, as I'm undergoing what I'll euphemistically refer to as "career transition" :-( Will still enter challenges and such as time permits.
I'm still around and still contactable - so by all means say Hi via PM - can't promise a speedy reply though. Back soon :-)
My rolling list of DPC goals for 2009:
Get another ribbon. Done!
Get 3 top 10 finishes. 2 so far in 2009
I got 12 shots that scored 6+ in 2008 - match this in 2009 10 so far - including 6 sixes in row!
Beat 7 on a shot. Best is 6.863
Get my all-time average score to 5.5555. 5.4900 as at 10/8/09
My average of shots in 2008 was 5.5815 - maintain or better this in 2009.
Break my PB.
Have my top 5 shots above 6.8.
Receive 1000 comments during 2009 (i.e. 1902 received all-time)
Make 2000 comments during 2009 (i.e. 3777 made all-time)
Cast 3500 votes during 2009 (i.e. 9449 all-time)
Be a talking point - get more than 25 comments on one shot at least once. Done twice so far this year!
Break a 6 in a photo of the following subjects:
-A food shot.
-A Black & White shot. Done!
-A concept shot on the dining room table (look through my portfolio for loads of these and they always bomb) :-(
Don't ever ever submit an eagle shot again (unless it's really good lol) Depends whether you call 6.4467 really good lol
A very special thanks to my partner Sara, who makes it all worthwhile.
A number of my personal favourite shots taken in my DPC career, from challenges and just for fun:

Greetings to everyone viewing this. Since I put the flag counter on this page a while back I've been intrigued by the various different countries from all corners of the world with people visiting my page. If you're from somewhere far flung in relation to the UK, and we've never met before (in a virtual sense anyway) then feel free to send me a Private Message saying hello. |
