I bought my first camera - a Canon AE-1 - as a sophomore in college six years ago. I never realized what a hold photography would take on my life.
I purchased a Canon Rebel two years after that and now I shoot a Canon 5D and 40D. I'm currently working as an assistant for local wedding/studio photographers who have been in the business for over 30 years.
Eventually I'd like to have my own studio, gradually working up to shooting weddings.
I hope to learn all I can and expand my horizons within the digital world. I'm sure the DP Challenge community will support my endeavors to the fullest. It's been an honor to participate in the challenges I have thus far.
Personal goals:
Score over 7.0 in a challenge
Score in top 25 for challenge (Done! Cultural Events Challenge "Rite of Passage" 21st place!)
Score in top 15 for challenge (Done! Silky-Smooth challenge submission "Silky-Smooth Sunrise" 12th place! Woo Hoo!)
Score in top 10 (UT Oh, this one may be hard!)
Become 5 people's favorite photographer/photograph (Done! 5/28/07)
