I went digital in 1999, with a 1.3 MP Olympus. I then moved up to a 4.1 P/S Minolta in 2001. While I feel I learned alot with that camera, I became frustrated with its limitations. As of 12/05, I am the proud owner of a Canon 350D. Although I've been a member of this site for about 2 years, I haven't done much here. However, I've been a "lurker", seeing what others are doing, learning vicariously through them, and trying to work on my own composition and editing. For 2006 my goals at DPC are:
1) to enter at least 2 challenges each month
January - 1/2
February - 2/2
March - I was thrilled to see that "Painted Still Life" was selected as a favorite in the Painting With Light challenge.
April - 1/2
May - 2/2
June -
July -
August -
September -
October -
November -
December -
2) to have one photo score 6.5
3) to finish in the top 30 of at least one challenge - finshed 26th in the Success Challenge.
4) to have one photo score 7.0
5) to finish in the top 20 of at least one challenge. |
