    Biography: I'm a visual effects artist for movies during the week, and a wannabe photographer/naturalist on the weekends. I had been into photography in college but had always been frustrated with spending so much time in the lab and not getting the results I wanted. With the advent of digital photography, I felt that it was time to shoot again. I've tried a few different digi cams and originally settled on the Nikon D70, with 18-70mm and 70-300mm lenses. I really dig Nikon's 10.5mm fisheye lens and I've rented it and a 16mm variant on occasion. After a while, I realized I needed a more portable camera but still wanted the flexibility of shooting RAW, so I picked up the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2s.
