My voting process:
On a first pass, if a photo is acceptable for the challenge, it gets scored a 5. When an image has obvious technical or compositional flaws, lacks creativity, DNMC, or shows no effort it gets scored down. Scores of 1 and 2 are very rare.
After a first pass, images that are "average" remain at 5. Others which I find more appealing, either aesthetically, technically, or otherwise, get scored up to 6, 7, 8 or higher depending on the image, its answer to the challenge and the phase of the moon. |
