My love for photography started after i lost one of my young newfoundland puppies, to polymyostitis, i had been heavily involved in stain glass art first, when she got sick it was a long haul and we both fought tooth and nail for her to survive.
unfortunatly i had to put her to rest, her spirit was strong, her body was devastated.
I could not bring myself, and still cannot, to work on stain glass, as she always layed outside the door to my room, and watched me.
some day i will get back to the work.
In the meantime, my love of taking photos of my newfoundland dogs had exploded into other avenues, besides the dogs i was taking photos of other things, and learning on other forums and critique sites.
I breed newfoundland dogs, mainly the landseer variety, occasional litters from DIVERSE pedigrees avoiding the harmful fads the conformation ring promotes,i breed for health structure and the old type.
this site seems pretty active and fun, i hope to meet a lot of nice people here, and hope to be of help.
