Thanks for the nice, warm welcome, everyone!
I started this hobby when I was a young girl (with a 110 camera...lol) and am always trying to find ways to improve. Seems like I've found the perfect site for it. Everyone has been very helpful (not to mention some of you have a GREAT sense of humor!)
Hmmmmmmmmm....something more personal?
My photography teacher in Middle School (25 yrs ago) introduced me to my first REAL camera (Yashica-D.) I took the camera with my everywhere. There's nothing quite like being in the darkroom and developing your own prints and film.
Unfortunately, they didn't offer courses in High School (9-12,) so he let me borrow the camera and use any materials I needed throughout. Little did he know, I was skipping classes and sneaking over to his class (the schools were right next door to each other.) He always thought I was at lunch or had Study Hall. So, Mr Palmer...........there's a big, fat, confession for ya'! Thanks for everything! |
