    Biography: At the youthful age of thirteen, my dad gave me an Asahi Pentax 35mm camera. I rarely used it because I didn't have the patience to learn about ISOs, Shutter Speeds and f-stops. At the time, he also had a Canon AE-1 that my brothers and I were not allowed to mess with.

    A few months prior to starting my first photoblog, |Shrued , I somehow got the idea that I would get back into photography (as if I were ever in it to begin with). I purchased a Canon Digital Rebel and quickly realized that if I didn't take the time to learn the multitude of camera functions and options, this expensive camera would be just another impulse buy that I didn't need.

    Now, I operate two photoblogs. |Shrued and Monochrome City. I really enjoy Monochrome City because I really enjoy black and white photography.
