I grew up in upstate NY and never took one picture there, not one. Not of the gorges, not of the fall leaves, nothing. How I wish I had been into photography back then. Now I live in boring flat Illinois.
My husband bought me my first camera as a Christmas present about 6 years ago. It was a Minolta film camera and after spending tons of money on film to toss 23 prints in the trash and save 1 he bought be my Nikon D70. I just have fun with pictures. I wish I could figure out how to be half as good as some of the people on here. Up until late 2007 I didn't even have any software to edit my pictures, I mean even to resize them. I just took the card to the store and printed. Now I have paint shop and am trying to learn that along with my camera. Someday I'll get lucky and take a good picture :) |
