Biography: I am a U.S citizen living and working in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. By training I am an anthropologist and am currently working with a NGO focused on rural economic development. Photography has been an off-and-on passion for years. I fell in love with digital photography several years ago and gave up film photography complete, but I have also been frustrated with the capacity of point-and-shoot digital cameras. Only recently have I been able to afford the step up to a DSLR and have fallen back in love with photography. I discovered DPC in early 2005 and it has challenged me to expand and improve my photographic vision and skills. You can see more of my work at www.pbase.com/beamsclan.
