Biography: I got my first camera almost 50 years ago (a Brownie) and have been interested in photograhpy ever since. Took classes in High School and College, and at one time had my own color darkroom.

Got my first digital camera in 2000 (Olympus D-460Z) and it was love at first sight.

As a retirement present to myself last year I got the Fuji FinePix S-7000. I used it for my first three challenges on DPC. It's a great camera if you shoot at max 3meg.

Just got the Canon PowerShot G6 in time for my fourth challenge (Accidental Letters). Hopefully I can now concentrate on my images instead of the hardware!

Am really enjoying DPC and looking forward to continue learning.

    April 5, 2005

Update: Did it again. Bought a Canon Powershot G3 IS. (7/6/06)

Oh my, it's addicting: Now have a Canon Powershot SX10 IS (2/11/09)
