I've loved Photography for as long as I can remember. I remember my first camera. I bought it with $10 of my Christmas money from my Brother. I was probably about 9-10 years old. I still remember exactly how it looked. My Mother still has the album of blurry photos I proudly took with it. I still get the same thrill out of taking a photograph as I did with that first camera. There are many things I've tired of or gotten bored with in my life, My love for Photography has been one constant in my life. Finally, with encouragement from a great husband and with much enthusiasm, I decided to devote more time to actually learning the technical parts of photography. I'm a SAHM to 5 kids and in my spare time (whats that?) I am now taking the NYIP course (which might I add I think it Rocks) and also trying to learn as much as I can from other books, online and from practice! My goal is to eventually do this thing I enjoy as a small business.
I got my dream camera (my first DSLR) a couple of months ago and now I'm all about learning. I love this site for all the info it has, the fun of competing and the helpful and incredibly talented people it has as its members. I'm regularly blown away by the images I see here. I always find something helpful or at the very least entertaining to read here. I appreciate all the helpful or just nice comments I have received thus far. I value the input!
I look forward to learning and growing as a photographer. |
