Hi,
I'm a 40 yr old single mom of a great 17yr old young man. I own a small in-home-care company specializing in elderly and hospice care. I have many hobbies including hiking, geology and rock hounding, marine biology, dancing, and many forms of art. I'm currently working in ceramics more, mostly sculpture.
I also love paragliding and have been flying part-time for about 8yrs, but choose to be a "bunny-hill" pilot for now. Being a mom comes first : )
I am not new to photography, but have not had the time and energy to devote to it as I would like. I've taken a few college classes, but know that I have so much to learn. I have had only Canons and really like them including the latest: a Canon PS Pro 1 and am loving it! I haven't stepped into digital SLR yet, mostly because of expense, but my Pro 1 is enough of a hybrid to get most of the excellent SLR quality. I realize that I have not had the amount of time in the dark room I should have to fully understand and appreciate all I could do with this camera, but hope to get back into some classes, esp to study studio lighting, a great weak area of mine. 4/08
