I used to sell cameras at a major retail store here in Perth, Western Australia for about 6 years. I always had an interest in photography and working there allowed me to get some gear 'cheaper' than I normally would. Unfortunately my wife  -bec- has since been taken ill with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and I have been a home body since November 2004 looking after her and our 5 children. She has since taken up photography as a hobby as well and is doing some wonderful work. I'm very proud of her.
I enjoy mainly photographing people and have been working as a part time wedding photographer for the past 2 years. The amount of information that I have learnt from this web site is immense! There are some fantastic photographers on here and if ever you need help with something someone usually has information. I love reading comments on my photos from other people and I spend hours looking through other peoples portfolios.
