Born on June 12, 1982, Shannon Arlene Halsaver has been taking photographs for most of her life, however it was in her senior year of high school when she became serious about making a career taking photographs. It was in fact during this year of her life that Shannon took a photography course at her high school Cuba-Rushford with Mr. Joy. From the first moment she walked into the darkroom she knew she was destined to take photographs for the rest of her life. For Christmas that same year she received her first SLR Manual Focus camera, an Olympus OM10, from her paternal grandfather to whom she is eternally grateful for the gift. Shannon has used this camera for many of her photographs. Recently however she has switched cameras to her Sony Mavica digital camera. She hopes to someday own a Nikon D100. She hopes to begin NYIP soon for she feels that one never knows all there is about photography. |
