On April 7, 2012, my entire life was turned upside down. My son was involved in a tragic accident that left him with 2nd and 3rd degree burns on over 40% of his body, including his entire face. We were in the hospital with him for 55 days. During which time, I found God. If it wasn't for the grace of God, I do not believe my son would be here today.
This event in our lives has made me realize the importance of things. It has helped me to see the TRUE beauty in the world.
Beauty is BEYOND skin deep. Don't believe that? Talk to my son and your mind will INSTANTLY change.
Dallas is my hero. Just when I think I can't go on, he shows me that I can. If he can push through these trials in his life, so can I.
Aside from that. I am married to a wonderful man. We have five children, ages 6, 7, 14, 17, & 18. And have been blessed with a beautiful granddaughter (born June 2014).
Photography has been a passion of mine since I was a young child.
The people here have shown me a tremendous amount of support. Everything that you all have done for my son (and me and my family) is greatly appreciated. Don't EVER doubt that! Thank you all for everything.
