    Biography: Learned photography from my dad.
    Did my first own film (6X6cm) development and B&W prints in our dark room at home at age 8.
    Won my first photo contest (prize: a voigtlander rangefinder camera) at age 14.
    Bought my first 35mm SLR camera (Nikon Nikkormat EL) at age 18.
    At age 31, I bought a Canon EOS 620, with a bunch of lenses and a flash during a 2 day lay-over in Singapore. Later added a 2nd hand EOS 630.
    After a number of digital point-'n-shoots, I got a Canon EOS XT in 2005.
    Ordered a Canon 7D. It's going to be delivered TODAY! (5/12/2010)
    I'm a Dutch-American firmware engineer, living in Palm Bay, FLorida.
