    Biography: I have only just bought my 1st SLR camera this year (2011) and am trying to learn how to take better photograpghs. I have only ever had compact cameras and have taken photos of the "happy-snappy" variety.
    If anyone can offer any tips or hins on how I can improve my photography, they are MOST welcome!
    Even if it seems silly, I am a complete novice and would welcome any and all tips!
