I'm a 28 year old single mother, of a gorgeous 5 year old girl, currently residing in New Jersey (transplanted from Texas). I've been fascinated by photography for as long as I can remember so I'm here to learn!
I originally used my dad's old manual focus SLR to take pictures of fast moving hockey players and eventually had two of my photos published on the cover of my favorite team's program.
Just before the digital camera revolution, I acquired a georgeous Canon Rebel 2000 with 2 Canon lenses, the Zoom EF 28-105MM 1.35 4.5 II USM and the Zoom EF 100-300MM 1:4.5-5.6. Recently I had to sell the camera and the former lens to raise money to take my daughter to Disney World. Such is life. Now I really want a good digital SLR, just gotta save up the money :)
Soon I plan on starting school to become an art teacher. I also want to pursue a degree in art therapy as I believe that expressing oneself is exceptionally theraputic. I would love to teach photography one day, after taking *many, many* classes as I have an enormous amount to learn at this point in my life. |
