I meant to come back after the voting was over to congratulate you on this image. I was disappointed for you that it did not score higher. I was one of your 6 10s. Ubique's comment is perfect.
ETA, I just read some of the other comments, and totally agree with Melethia. Had you cropped the guy on the left out, this would have been a totally different image and not nearly so good.
hey, many thanks for taking the time to write this. means a lot to me.

It's an immensely clever & classy picture. Thank you. 9.
ah, love your great comment here. your writing is as lovely as many of your images. thanks!

And should someone want to crop your out of focus gentleman, make sure they understand that isn't possible as he's the narrator of our tale.

What a waste of energy! Shouldn't they close the windows so they don't lose all the air conditioning? . There are many good things to say about this picture. I especially like the tones on the side of the bus, and the folks looking out the windows' faces are nicely in focus. Not sure about the blurry guy in the foreground, but even he gives depth to the shot.
i like the B&W treatment of this shot. Composition/crop could have been better, would have really helped if the man in the foreground was also in focus.
Nice crisp focus on the passengers and good frontal bokeh on the single gentleman. I like well-taken candid snaps of unaware people and this is indeed well-taken. Good job.
