This was taken at Golden valley tree farm, (hubbie in pic) in the south west of WA, it's just the most amazingly spectacular place in Winter. We were on one of our getaways celebrating our anniversary.
Well a slightly different version of this is on 1X.com now, first time being published, so I'm pretty stoked!

i was hoping this would finish higher but still had a solid placing.
considering a lot of emotive type shots don't do as well in free study type challenges, i'd say yours was definitely a success.
Fabulous image that is so artfully rendered. My entry might have been a fraction of a point higher in score, but your's is a far more successful. This would have finished well ahead of mine were it not for the DPC voters so hung up on the technical details focus that they fail to see the beauty captured here. Great job.
I set sail on the meadow's grassy waters.
Paddling towards the forest shore,
my trail leaves a wake behind me.
I look for the sun's beacon
shining through the mist
granting me safe passage to
shelter of the woodland.
Love how the mist shrouds the land and gives it a mystical, magical air. The trail and the man on it adds visual interest to this misty landscape. I saw the trail behind the man and I instantly thought of a wake a boat leaves behind. That then lead to the imagery of this lone man 'sailing' towards the forest beyond the meadow.
i'd like ti see the subject moved to the lower left third point and move the horizon closer to the bottom third, i think it will give the image a bit more interest.
A very nice photo, the tones of green and yellow are wonderful and the overall feel of it is of peace and simplicity, in fact it looks like the walk I do eveyday, I haven't manged to capture it yet.
Nice shot, I like it a lot, the look really appeals to me, could be a book cover if you cropped of the sides of this image into a portrait oriented image.
I’m still blown away by this shot Anita. I hope you print this and hang it somewhere prominent. I can’t vote on this but if I could it would probably be a double figure.
