 I was walking around my local cemetery looking for somthing representing hope when I came across this old gravestone with a cross on top of it.

Stark, hopeless, yes.... I can't tell you why, but I wish it filled less of the picture, but it's still good.

I would like to see a little more contrast in this photo, just some tiny levels work, otherwise I like the motive and this photo conveys the theme well.

This image looks a bit tilted to the right (not vertical). Perhaps from the angle you took it at? Personally, I would have titled this "Hope He/She/They Have Gone To A Better Place" :)

It's a good photograph. However I would have liked to see a more challenging subject.
