Absolutely love the dirty arms & hands, especially being all dressed up. Kind-of a transient expression that is hard to read, but it doesn't say "happy". Nice use of DOF.
A classic portrait. Well done, but it's not as creative as some of the other entries. Still, good photography is good photography and this is a 7 in my opinion.
excels where so many other portraits have failed in this challenge. you are conveying a sense of interest that transcends the fact that i dont know or care about this boy.
I think his hat is a shade too big, lol. Cute image, love his little outfit. Nicely exposed too. I just wish there wasn't hair in front of both his eyes, which kinda spoils the eye contact for me.
"The best things come to those who wait," he thought annoyed as he sat down in a huff. "It's so easy for the big people to tell a little kid that. Waiting takes foooreeevvvver!" he grumpily plopped his head in his hands.
I love the emotion in the face and pose of this little boy that tells a story!
