My baby girl Zoe was born August 17, 2004 and of course, I have all my hopes and dreams invested in my two babies. My wife was kind enough to let me model my six-day-old baby girl and herself for this photo. It's a very personal photo for me, and I'm glad the challenge allowed me the opportunity to take it.

The shadows are soft and lovely. I might have tried cropping closer to the baby's head. The mother is sufficiently present in the hair, the breast and the hand. This would also take the baby's head out of the center of the picture, usually a good thing. Nicely conceived. Beautifully captured.
