This one is even more endearing but you chose well for the challenge. Timeless. You manage to bridge the gap (pardon the pun) between large audience taste and true expression of art.
Both are wonderful shots. I like your entry better, but this might have conveyed the people/pet connection better for some. The light on Gap's face and his focus on the stick are great.
