Thanks everyone. :) I hit an 8.4 at one point near the beginning of voting, which was the highest I had seen on one of mine, but have watched it go since. Ah well! I am truly happy to ribbon at all! I had considered not doing it since I figured people would think the a picture of a fairy was too cliche for this challenge, and maybe that's what hurt me, but I am pleased that so many of you also really liked it.
I was actually Tinkerbell this last Halloween so that costume came in handy again!!
I am so incredibly glad that I didn't do my first idea. I wanted to do a fairy in a jar!! This would have blown anything I came up with out of the water. -9-

Voted earlier in the day, coming back to comment now. Excellent processing on this composition! It really, truly looks like Tinkerbell has been trapped in that glass. Pose of the model is spot on ; projecting the emotion of despair and feeling trapped. Lighting is great and the green glow on Tink is a nice touch that adds to the magic.
Whilst this is advanced editing and you used that rule set to create this masterful imagery, it is not overdone. Cinematic in effect. Even the green glow extends beyond the glass wall. Great concept, photography and final image. Highest marks.
