These little guys are so hard to photograph. Nicley done, great colors and good clarity.

Beautifully clear and I love the irridescence on the feathers. Also like the depth of field and bokeh background colours complementing the hummingbird.

It's not very often that you get to capture one of these guys staying still! Great shot!

Stunning detail and excellent capture of the iridescence of its feathers. Not sure I've often seen a hummingbird land on a branch.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a humming bird sitting still. Nice bokeh.

The blur looks / feels a little faked to me - the leaf just past the tail doesn’t fade into a smooth texture, it changes abruptly. Small halos around inside of beak. Other than that it is a gorgeous shot with stunning clarity. Nice comp

To me, a fascinating photo. It reminds me of a photo from an old book. I love the soft feel to it, the colors, the grain. I especially like the big black soft eye of the bird. And, wow, I've never seen a hummingbird sitting on a branch! Thanks for entering this.

Such tiny delicate things. Lovely how the background colors match the bird's coloring so well.
