My wonderful daughter and our kitty Moriarty. For some reason Moriarty really does think he should be a shoulder cat. (yup! I saw there was another shoulder cat in the challenge.) That other cat really knows how to be a shoulder cat.
Moriarty really doesn't.
He kinda climbs up on the shoulder, and tries walking around. It can be amusing. If the claws haven't been trimmed it can be slightly unpleasant.
Sometimes he likes to sit and chew on your hair.
Sometimes he just walks down your back.
It's easier to just kinda lean over and let him...

I gave this a 6. I think the pose is great. The expressions on the human and on the cat are great.
The reason it didn't get over 6 is that it's too controlled for my taste, too safely in the genre of studio portrait, as exemplified by that backdrop. I have a thing about non-backgrounds.
