80 HP Fairbanks Morse diesel motor. It was used until about 1995 to power a pump, then donated to the Koreshan State Park. It was the same model that they used to power their little community, and now the park service maintains it. They start it up on a schedule during tourist season.
The Koreshan Unity was a very interesting little "religious" group that no longer exists. They believed that we lived in the center of the Earth, and also in celibacy.
