I like your composition, colors and focus. There seems to be a little distortion right around the edges of the hand and anchor. I've learned that working on a jpg image sometimes causes this. I've started saving mine as tif until I'm through editing and then converting to jpg to enter contest. Just a little suggestion, for whatever it's worth ;)

lovely photo! i love the hand, the clouds and the sky in general. the composition is very good and the idea is very strong. My only complaint is that the anchor looks like a paper cut out... 9
