A bubble-wrap "envelope", backlit by a kitchen spotlight. So that's two layers of bubbles there :-) Color throw is in the lighting. Image enhanced with Nik's Color Efex Pro, but not a huge amount, all in all.
This was just a last-minute-thing. I wasn't feeling motivated, but I grabbed the bubble wrap in one hand, the camera in the other, held the wrap to the light, and fired away handheld... I am thrilled with the result :-)

Only you could pick up ordinary objects, shoot it process it and slap a great title on it, and end up with a classic shot. I feel the abstract qualities, and the sunrise with remarkably true colors... voters be damned!
