As someone who hasn't read this book, I had no idea what a cat paw has to do with the title. I think with a challenge like this, the title and the photo need to connect for those who haven't read the book. If it also connects for those who have read the book, so much the better.
Ok, somebody I know explained this one to me as they got the connection as they knew the story.. a connection which clearly requires the viewer to have read the book or have it explained, as i needed.. boils down to the title not being represented by the photo.. so in my eyes DNMC i'm afraid.. shame, nice enough focus on the paw.
