Oh, and the graffiti on the road reads "Nice hill". Yes, it's pretty darn steep. Last time I lost my momentum halfway up and fell off the bike. This time I made it up nicely.

Maybe not as impulsive, or as enduring, as Kerouac, but the image speaks to me, and that is important. I wonder what the road grafitti says? Well done.
I can't imagine that Jack pictured a bloke on a bike to accompany his ramblings, but I'm glad that you did. It's a strangely absorbing photograph. I'd even like it without the bloke on the bike. Maybe more. 7 & thank you.
Fascinating image. Don't know why but the road resembles a tongue to me, and is about to swallow the rider. Incredible illusion, and the lighting on the road - excellent pp'ing
