Great image, Congrats on the ribbon.

Great crop. The eyes are so intense, and the eye pattern is echoed by the ears which I think reinforces the presence of the eyes...and they are both at perfect thirds as well. Cropping the snout was an inspired decision. There is just enough of the shoulders showing to indicate the wolf is in an aggressive position too. This photo actually scares the crap out of me.

Piercing gaze. Lovely crop and processing.

I like the tonal range and the selective color in the eyes. Nice texture, too.

Lovely photo, not sure why you cropped his nose off, maybe you just never shot it in the first place. Still very good photo.

Great capture. Love the detail in the fur and sprinkling of snow.
Post actions
Love the eyes and contrast in the fur. Not sure how I feel about the snout being cropped off.
Post actions
Nicely done; love the processing.

Wow, look at the details on the eyes and the fur! I am sure many may say that the shot should include the muzzle for the image to be better. I think your crop is spot on - because the first thing I notice is the eyes. Those eyes are staring me down and I get the feeling that I am being hunted. The feeling of being in imminent danger is palpable as I stare into the eyes of the hunter.

Beautiful choice of crop. I could definitely see this being used as a boot cover.

This is my #10. Just awesome!

Splendid, with the snow it's gorgeous. A bit weirded out by the pink eyes
