 As a Christian the cross is the ultimate symbol of Hope given by Jesus.

I took this at a retreat during free time.

You got the theme dead on, well done, I like the mountains in the background, looks good in BW (course I haven't seen the color, so I wouldn't know). Well done.

SUPERB printing. The whites are crisp and really white - the blacks are strong and dynamic. And there is a great tonal range in between. My highest B&W in this challenge. Composition is perfect as well. Thanks for sharing.

strong powerful image, the contrast between the sky and the cross is amazing! my only complaint would be the slight grain in the sky just above the clouds 9
