Looking around for interesting stories in macro life, my wife suggested a light bulb. Cracked it open and took a look. After a lot of different angles and setups, this emerged. Used my kit lens at 55mm focal length, with a macro screw-on lens.
I wanted it to remain identifiable, but as 'macro-y' as possible, which gave me this combination.

I like all the lines and shapes. I think a crop to just the left hand side is a more interesting photo the 2 glass pices seem like more of a distraction.
