 This was shot in 19-degree temps with a windchill going on top of that. Dang near frostbit myself shooting for Avatar and Resolution both at the last minute, an hour before sunset on Sunday...

I like the 'glow' to the BW (or perhaps I just imagine it). I would say that the background is perhaps too contrasty for my taste, but that's actually your style, where could it be more appropriate?
