I like your take, certainly original and very true. Possibly I would have liked to see a bit more blurry details of the pub, not because of the building/structure requirements in the challenge description, but because it would have helped the image speaking even without a title. Then, it's all personal perception, and heavily dependent on the number of pints :)
Long, blurred exposures can often be effective in creating a mood or an unusual effect. In this case though, my first thought was "the camera went off accidentally!" Sorry, 3 from me but bravo for trying something different.
