This Great Grey Owl made a rare appearance in southern Ontario this week. After driving for 4 hours, and searching the rural roads, I finally found him! It is the largest owl in north america, on average 2 feet in length, with a wingspan nearing 5 feet.

I love the little streaks of snow and how you have eye contact with the owl. He doesn't look too pleased :-P
I think overall the owl needs to be a bit sharper though. He appears a bit soft.
