This was my first photo shoot in close to seven years, and my first time shooting with a DSLR. I wanted to go with a high contrast portrait and use a slight blue toning, the decision to keep the cigar in color came during the editing. I used a low shutter speed in a dark setting, my attic, and a lamp over the subject.
